DescriptionAntifaschistische Aktion (Antifascistische Aktie or Antifascistisk Aktion) and sometimes abbreviated as Antifa (German/Dutch) or AFA (Scandinavian) is a militant network in Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and other countries. It is an extra-parliamentary political movement which is opposed to the established ruling governments and mainstream political parties. Its members oppose fascism, sexism, racism and classism. One of the main goals of the organization is to exchange information and to coordinate activities between local groups with similar ideologies. Handing out flyers, organizing demonstrations and engaging in direct action are some of the activities that Antifaschistische Aktion sponsors. It is accepted that a certain amount of violence and physical aggression will occur in the struggle against fascism. The organization's ideology insists that it does not maintain a central authority which means it has a flat organization consisting of of many independent groups and associations. Also, this loose structure with no apparent board or leader is necessary for the group's survival as it is constantly being monitored by the police. Antifaschistische Aktion works with other anti-fascist groups from all over Europe. In Germany Antifaschistische Aktion was the main organizer of the biggest antifascist campaign in recent years. Their successful crusade and protest movement led to the end of Europe's largest Nazi gathering, the annual Nazi marches in eastern Dresden. This sticker is an example of Antifaschistische Aktion's stand against Nazis. It features an anti Nazi quote from Indiana Jones and a photograph of a scene from the popular movie "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade".
